Lovell Renew has been recognised by tenant engagement body Tpas for its people-focused approach.
The retrofit and refurbishment specialist is the first contractor in the UK to be accredited under Tpas’ newly revised Contractor Engagement Standards.
The accreditation follows an independent assessment process that included staff interviews, resident meetings, workshops, surveys and desktop reviews.
Assessors praised Lovell for its approach to apprenticeships, local employment initiatives and social value, as well as its "close-knit and supportive culture".

They also noted the team’s commitment to resolving issues quickly and respectfully.

Lovell Renew partners with councils and housing providers to refurbish and retrofit homes across the Midlands and the North of England.
Previous accreditation
The company won accreditation under Tpas’ previous standards in 2009, 2012, 2016 and 2019.
Its updated standards also cover governance and transparency, scrutiny, business and strategy, complaints, information and communication, resources for engagement, and community and wider engagement.
Each accreditation lasts three years, with reviews taking place 12 months after the date of awarding.
