Lucas Cusack: Glider’s new strategic lead for asset management
Glider has appointed Lucas Cusack as strategic lead for asset management. In this new role at the tech firm, Cusack will support clients in the use and maintenance of building information.

Having started his digital construction career in Australia, Cusack moved to Londonand joined architectural practice Anshen + Allen. After nearly four years there as BIM manager, he joined Laing O’Rourke as lead digital engineer (BIM).

As part of the senior leadership team within the contractor’s digital engineering function, he managed the implementation and use of BIM on large-scale building projects during construction in the London and Oxford region. He managed a team of seven digital engineers, who supported 10 projects collectively worth more than £1bn.

After nearly four years at Laing O’Rourke, he joined Westfield as project BIM manager. In this role he oversaw the delivery of the client’s first BIM project. He later joined Willow Europe as director of project delivery, UK & Europe for four years.
