Using the apprenticeship levy, the Gleeds Data Academy will offer training opportunities to employees who wish to expand their knowledge base. Tech firm Projecting Success will deliver the 12-month Data Analyst Level 4 Apprenticeship training for at least 10 team members this year, with eight having already started the pilot scheme.
The course will offer participants on-the-job experience, project-focused training, and the chance to get involved in the project data analytics community through regular meet-ups and hackathons.

The course will also introduce apprentices to and consolidate their understanding of Python Coding, Microsoft Azure, machine learning and AI, alongside other aspects of the field of data analytics.

As well as the full apprenticeship, Gleeds and Projecting Success have devised a series of shorter courses for those who want to enhance their data capabilities without committing to a long-term programme. The business will be running five one-day courses, entitled ‘What is Project Data Analytics?’, in addition to a number of introductory seminars to be run during lunch breaks in its offices nationwide.
