The CIOB Midlands is hosting a webinar with the Get it Right Initiative (GIRI) and Viewpoint focusing on reducing errors and improving quality.
The hour-long lunchtime session on 2 December will start with an overview from Clifford Smith, executive director of GIRI.
GIRI research suggests the industry spends between 15% and 25% of total project costs dealing with the consequences of avoidable error. Smith believes the initiative is a real opportunity for the industry to improve productivity and reputation.
The webinar will look at how changing cultures across a business right from the start can reduce avoidable error and project costs.
