The Digital Twin Hub will transfer from the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) to run under the auspices of an industry/catapult partnership at the Connected Places Catapult (CPC) from 1 April.

In a statement, the Digital Twin Hub said: “The transition of the Hub to the industry/catapult partnership housed at CPC will allow the community to accelerate its growth and address new and exciting project areas across the public and private sectors. It will be an opportunity to reach different people and industry sectors, scale innovation, expand resources and increase knowledge exchange.”

The Hub was launched by CDBB in March 2020 as part of the National Digital Twin programme. In two years, Hub membership has grown from an initial group of six to more than 3,500 individuals, representing more than 1,600 organisations from nearly 80 countries.
