Digital Construction Week has opened a call for papers to present at its fourth show, which takes place at ExCel in London this October.
The organisers are looking for submissions that share something new, insightful, engaging and/or different that will help educate, inform and inspire the cross-industry audience.
This includes case studies, research projects, debate topics, workshops, live demos, how-to guides and best practice examples.
DCW director and curator of the show content programme, Ollie Hughes, stressed the importance of crowdsourcing content directly from those in the industry.

Registering also means you can manage your own CPDs, comments, newsletter sign-ups and privacy settings.
“Our show is only successful if we manage to attract the best and brightest from far and wide across architecture, engineering and construction to share their insights and ideas,” he said.
“The feedback we received from visitors and speakers last year tells me that our ability to create that kind of environment is one of our key strengths as a show, and we hope to build on that again this year. I’d therefore like to urge anyone out there with an idea to submit a paper and help us make this our most diverse, inspiring and innovative show to date.”
This year the show will host a thought leadership conference and five seminar theatres focused on some of the key digital construction trends, including: BIM, Geospatial, Visualisation, Business Transformation, and Industry 4.0.
Sessions on each stage will fall into one of the following three categories:
- Innovation: exploring ideas for the future;
- Digital in Action: focus on practical learning, current projects, and case studies; and
- Technology: focused on the tools and tech.
