Construction employers warned of impending training costs

A UK-based training and apprenticeship provider has issued an urgent call to employers in the construction and civil engineering sectors as the government prepares to make changes to skills funding.

S&A Academy has urged employers to enrol their employees onto Level 7 (masters level) courses before the end of this year, or face significant costs per employee.

From 1 January 2026, the UK government will no longer provide funding for individuals aged 22 and over.
