The Buildings Client Group (BCG) will continue its drive of digital adoption among clients via its new home at the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).

The BCG is an independent member’s group for leaders, directors and decision makers from across the property sector engaged in digital transformation. It was established by the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) as a partner in the Construction Innovation Hub in January 2020, and is now hosted by CIOB.

The BCG’s objectives are to:

  • improve the design and delivery of new buildings, and support effective management of them over their operational lifecycle through the implementation of emerging digital practices;
  • increase digital maturity of member organisations through transparent benchmarking and insight sharin; and
  • learn from others by sharing case studies and best practice to provide real world examples of successful digital transformation.
