CIOB reaffirms commitment to EDI

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) has signed a new five-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) to help advance equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across the built environment sector. 

The new agreement has been signed by eight professional bodies from the sector and follows the original three-year MoU signed in April 2022 by CIOB, the Institution of Civil Engineers, Landscape Institute, Royal Institute of British Architects, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and Royal Town Planning Institute.

Two additional signatories – the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors – have now joined the collective commitment to improving standards across built environment professions.
