BIM training needs to align with ISO 19650

The Construction Innovation Hub wants BIM training providers to align far more with ISO 19650.

David Philp, digital impact director at the Hub said: “Training providers have faced enormous challenges over the past year, from changes in patterns of demand to moving their course delivery online. BS EN ISO 19650 parts 1 and 2 were published in January 2019 and whilst there should be a smooth transition for those familiar with the previous PAS and British Standards, the changes are not trivial, and we would like to see increased alignment to the ISO 19650 series (as part of the UK BIM Framework) as the sector recovers.”
