BIM looks to have officially moved into mainstream with the imminent launch of BIM for Dummies, the latest edition of the “world’s bestselling reference brand”.
The book, published by Wiley, is co-authored by David Philp FCIOB, head of BIM implementation at the Cabinet Office, who recently took part in a debate to launch BIM+.
The other co-authors are Stefan Mordue, a member of the Construction Industry Council BIM 2050 group and technical author and architect at NBS, RIBA Enterprises’ data services offshoot, and Paul Swaddle, a business solutions consultant at NBS.
