Japanese construction computing specialist Fukui Computer has enlisted the help of Bentley Systems to promote digital workflows.
Fukui Computer asked Bentley Systems to step in due to a shortage of construction skills, which it said could hamper measures to upgrade and improve Japanese infrastructure.
Fukui plans to use Bentley’s iTwin platform to augment its cloud-based data sharing service, Cimphony Plus, with 3D/4D visualisation, simulation, and digital twin capabilities.
It said the partnership will provide solutions for digital transformation in the infrastructure field promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport & Tourism.
