AtkinsRéalis appoints Darren Martin as first chief digital officer

AtkinsRéalis has appointed Darren Martin to the new position of chief digital officer.
Martin is responsible for building on AtkinsRéalis’ global digital strategy. Namely, this will be to transform its core business and offer new digital services to customers.
He has extensive experience in technology leadership roles and has a track record of driving digital transformation in AtkinsRéalis’ focus areas, including infrastructure and energy systems.
Martin joins AtkinsRéalis from McKinsey, where he was chief technology officer for the firm’s capital excellence - operations practice. Previously, he was CTO at engineering and construction consultancy Wood plc and head of digital solutions for Jacobs. He has also held leadership positions at DXC Technology and the UK Home Office.
